The Man from Planet X
A space alien attempts to control the minds of people in a small isolated Scottish village. It's a fun late-night movie for those of us who love 1950s sci-fi. Expect some large plot holes and dialogue that will give you a case of the giggles. Although, the alien communicating with sound reminds me of Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
The bulk of the production was shot in 6 days --- good old B movies. As a result, no one remembers who played the part of the alien. One of those odd quirks of B moviedom!
Cast:
Robert Clarke as John Lawrence
Margaret Field as Enid Elliot
Raymond Bond as Professor Elliot
William Schallert as Dr. Mears
