I think that if you had asked me if I wanted to buy a Linux tablet a couple of years ago I would have said no. Now, I think that I would give one a try. I guess due in some part to my love of my Kindle Fire. Between you and me, I didn't expect to enjoy my Kindle as much as I do.
At any rate, Ubuntu is offering "the world’s FIRST Ubuntu tablet, the Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition."
Canonical say the M10 is ‘the first in a series of converged devices’, suggesting that more hardware will be announced in the coming months. So there you go. Will this be a major success or a major flop? Ubuntu is an excellent, stable, and user friendly flavor of Linux so I believe that people will enjoy it. Having said that, I wonder how the devices will hold up in the WILD.
