I'm a fan of a Lovecraftian story. That being said, I thought the book "Lovecraft Country" was very "meh" and I was surprised that the book was adapted for a TV series. I really had to push to finish it. Still, the book "Lovecraft Country" has very high scores from reviewers so I thought that it was just me.
After watching one episode of the series Lovecraft Country, I realized that it wasn't just me. I simply didn't care about this show. Well, HBO has cancelled the show after one season without an explanation.
