Me and my Kindle Fire

My Christmas present from my family ( Kindle Fire ). I've enjoyed it so far. I am currently about half-way through Joe Hill's NOS4A2 and stopped to check out a friends blog and read some email. My nephew thought to pay a little extra and removed the ad-supported element. Pretty cool, all in all, but I'd recommend putting the Kindle Fire in airport mode if you want to read without chimes from various alerts.

As you can tell from the picture, they also gave me a bluetooth keyboard from Fintie. It turns the Kindle Fire into a mini laptop. More often than not, I take the keyboard off while reading. It just feels more comfortable for me. The keyboard simply clicks back on with magnets and it's ready to go to work. Having said that, on more than one occasion, I've simply turned the keyboard on and typed away --- it's bluetooth.  

From time to time I'll let you know what Kindle book I am reading, and more importantly, if this Kindle Fire will stand the test of time.
