Paul Grant, a British actor who appeared in Star Wars and Harry Potter films, died on March 19, 2023 at the age of 56. He was found unconscious outside a London train station on March 16 and was declared brain dead at the hospital. He is survived by his three children, his girlfriend and his fans.
Grant was known for playing an Ewok in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and a goblin in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. He also had roles in Labyrinth, Willow and Legend. He struggled with drug and alcohol addiction for years and lost everything he had.
His daughter Sophie Jayne Grant said he was a legend who always brought a smile and laughter to everyone's face. His girlfriend Maria Dwyer said he was the love of her life and the funniest man she knew. A family friend said he was a lovely bloke who called himself the 'King of the Dwarfs'.
He will be missed by many who admired his talent and spirit.
