‘Willow’ Canceled After One Season On Disney+

After only one season, Disney has pulled the plug on it's sequel to the classic movie. Honestly, I haven't heard anything positive about the show and I decided early on not to watch it. That being said, I recommend the movie.

"Willow" is a fantasy film directed by Ron Howard, released in 1988. The story follows a young farmer named Willow Ufgood (played by Warwick Davis) who discovers a baby girl with a special mark on her arm, which means she is destined to bring about the downfall of an evil queen named Bavmorda (played by Jean Marsh). Along with a warrior named Madmartigan (played by Val Kilmer), Willow sets out on a perilous journey to deliver the baby to safety and defeat Bavmorda.

Throughout their journey, Willow and his companions face numerous obstacles, including deadly creatures, treacherous terrain, and Bavmorda's army of warriors. Along the way, Willow discovers that he has a magical ability to perform spells and becomes an important figure in the fight against Bavmorda.

In the end, Willow and his companions are able to defeat Bavmorda with the help of the baby, who reveals herself to be a powerful sorceress named Elora Danan. The film ends with Willow returning to his village as a hero, having proven himself to be much more than a simple farmer.

Sadly, Disney should have let the story end there.
