The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (1973)

Well this movie, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf (1973), is a blast from the past. I can remember watching it as a kid as part of a double feature --- ah, those were the days.

The movie plays tonight ( Feb 20, 2016 ) on Svengoolie. If you can't wait for Svengoolie tonight or you don't get MeTv, you can watch Misty Brew's Creature Feature Show.

You can almost guess what the story is about from the title of the movie. The movie has the lame special effects of the 70's, and the werewolves look about like shaggy dogs, but I have to admit a certain amount of nostalgic love of horror films of this era. It makes me relive my youth of drive-ins with their smell of popcorn, cheap hot-dogs, and gasoline.

Favorite line: Hey old boy, what are you doing out here in the black of night?

The writing and acting is pretty shoddy. I give it 2 1/2 stars out of 5 and recommend it for the horror fans who like cheesy 1970's movies.
