On the news that there was a giant password hack, I have started the laborious effort of changing my passwords. Supposedly, major email providers like Gmail, Yahoo, and others were hacked and data like passwords were being sold. As it turns out, the story probably wasn't true but since I haven't changed my passwords in years I decided now was as good a time as any.
It's also caused me to reflect on all of the "stuff" that I have online and ask the question, "do I need it"? Do I need multiple blogs? Do I need multiple Facebook pages? Do I need the Tumblr account that I never use? Do I need that LinkenIn account that I never use? Instagram?
I guess I'm asking myself what is important online. I think this year will bring a lot of changes to my online footprint.
