I have enjoyed many of Russell Crowe's movies so the news that he has been added to the cast of "The Mummy" was a bit of relief. I can't say the same for the news that Johnny Depp would be playing as the "Invisible Man" --- oh dear gawd. That being said, I am still scratching my head over Tom Cruise being cast for "The Mummy" movie. I guess that we will learn more in time, but as things stand now I am a little worried about Universal's picks.

Crowe's part is described as a Jekyll/Hyde character. Does Universal plan to tie the Dr. Jekyll story to the Mummy movie? Will Crowe play Dr. Jekyll in a Jekyll/Hyde spin-off? Does Universal know or even care who Dr. Jekyll was?
